My family is a sucker for a good veggie pizza. One that includes more than just your usual peppers/onions/mushrooms. This place has a phenomenal veggie pizza with all kind of marinated veggie goodness. We also really love their Joey Bag of Doughnuts pizza and their antipasto too. We’ve never eaten in but always had a great experience getting carry out. The staff is kind and always honest about any extra wait if they’re running a bit behind (which happens occasionally but the wait is worth it and never ridiculously long).
The food is phenomenal as is the staff! Owner from NY (WOOT WOOT!) Even though our pizza was made wrong (it was STILL divine) after this visit...they have 4 customers 4-Life! NC is definitely in desperate need of the Good Ole Fashion New York pizza and thank God we found them! I'm originally from New England so my Italian-eske taste buds KNOW what to look for and if you haven't eaten here...pls go and get a taste of REAL authentic Italian food done the right way. First, wow!! The white pizza is out of this world! We added mushrooms and caramelized onions and I cannot get enough! Second, these guys serve HUGE portions! We got the 12" and couldn't finish it. Brad, the owner, is a super nice guy. We really enjoyed talking to him and learned a lot about what makes his pizza so good!
I love pizza and eat it every time I can . Think I may have found my new fav. This is some of the best Sicilian pizza I’ve had. The garlic knots are amazing, when eating here they are a must have. The staff are exceptional as well, friendly and welcoming. So don’t miss this little gem. Will definitely return !
It really is a rare thing to find good pizza in the South. Generally speaking Pizza in the South is ketchup on toast. Pizza here is very respectable. Wings are okay, Rather small, frankly remarkably small in some instances. But at 0.25 a pop who can complain.? Some tasty sauces. 5 out of 10 for the wings.
My mom, 2 kids and I went there last week to celebrate mine and my son's birthdays. We had never eaten here before so I didn't know what to expect. The food was delicious, portion size was generous and my daughter who is an extreme picky eater loved the pizza. Our waitress was Lauren and she was very attentive to us and my daughter just loved her. We will be going back, I highly recommend it. Pictures are not great
Ordered 2 18" pizzas, one white, one chicken parm. First time trying it out. Chicken parm was very good, I have to say it's second to another we eat. It's still very good. The white pizza was superb It was good enough to bring me back. I would love to try other pies looking forward to it. I'm interested in the chicken ala vodka pie and will be trying a cannoli next time as well. Seriously, if you are trying this out for the first time, go with the white pizza!
The pizza across the board has been great. The crust has a good crunch to it and it has been consistent each time I have eaten here. The food in general is always good. It can be chaotic at times and it seems like/ maybe should be - a place you pay before you sit just based on the layout. Would definitely recommend. Greatd value for quality food.
